The Colosseum

The Coliseum (Colosseum) seen from the Forum in Rome. Also known as Flavian Amphitheater (Amphitheatrum Flavium) is the largest amphitheater in Rome. It takes its name from the statue of Nero (the Colossus of Nero) which was displaced during Construction of the Temple of Venus and Rome, located nearby.
